How did we get started?

We were stirred into action in  August 2015. A team of 53 volunteers travelled to Calais Refugee Camp laden with supplies. These supplies were collected and donated by the citizens of Ireland. Friendships were formed and huge amounts of support given in the form of medical, building and warehouse efforts.

Our connection to Calais now?

Since the original convoy, Irish groups have returned to help build communal shelters, a vaccination canter, a therapy centre, a library and to cement friendships.
